Grain Store Refurbishment - Hatfield


RSG Structures supplied and fitted horizontal panels to 2.4m and 3.0m high for level fill grain in an existing store. The existing wooden sleeper walls were removed and the horizontal panels installed in their place. As part of the contract RSG Structures also supplied and fitted the steel flashing above the panels .

Precast Columns and Prestressed Firewall Panels - Pembroke

RSG Structures were chosen as the preferred supplier of precast and prestressed elements for five new transformer unit fire walls at the new power station in Pembroke. Each transformer unit had a firewall of 9.2m high and 8m high respectively. This was achieved using Precast Columns installed within sockets and Prestressed Horizontal Panels installed between the columns. RSG Structures carried out the full design package on the different elements and provided the best product and price for the main contractor on site.

Domestic Retaining Wall - Gloucestershire


RSG Structures removed an existing block wall that was failing and replaced it with a steel king post/prestressed panel version. The wall was 2.4m high and approx 15m long. It has given the homeowner much more useable space on their property. All options were considered but the king post/panel was the best in terms of price, buildability and speed of construction. The panels have now been painted to bend them in with the existing buildings.

Footbridge Refurbishment - Oxford

An existing old footbridge was being removed and updated south of Oxford. RSG Structures were contracted to supply bespoke precast bridge deck units to sit on the new steel frame below. They contained parapet bolt clusters for the guard rails above. The tolerances where very small as the units had to fit over the studs on the steelwork. They were then grouted in, sealed and a tarmac layer installed over.

Timber Crib Walling - Telford

RSG Structures designed, supplied and constructed the concrete foundations and timber crib sections required for a new superstore in Telford. The crib was required to finish off the end of contiguous piled walls on site. The maximum height on this project was 2.5m but heights of over 4m are achievable. Concrete crib was considered but timber better suited planning requirements and is very fast to install and can be adapted easily on site if required.

Push Walling for Waste Recycling - Lichfield


RSG Structures supplied horizontal panels to 3.0m high to provide perimter push walling on a green waste recycling site. The panels clipped back to stub stanchions concreted into independent foundations, The wall has been left that it can be extended as the requirement for extra storage grows. Free standing Arrow walls to 3.0m high were also supplied onto site, providing moveable division walling. The tongue and groove jointing between units and heavy base making them ideal for this task.

Slatted Dairy Unit - Chard

For a new dairy unit in Chard, RSG Structures were chosen to supply the prestressed and precast elements for the project. These included Prestressed Horizontal Panels for the perimeter to the building as well as prestressed vertical panels to for the walls for the below ground tank. Precast columns and beams were supplied to support the suspended floor, as well as precast cattle slats, passage slabs and cubicle Beds.

Cladding - Hereford


The new livestock market in Hereford required large concrete cladding panels up to 9m long and 3.4m high. The installation of these units weighing up to 10.3 tonnes was further complicated by the cladding rails being in place and having to fit the bottom of the units over stepped foundations. RSG completed the install using innovative lifting and fixing methodology to achieve the clients aim.

Push Walls - Hull

Push walls for a new council depot in Hull were supplied and installed by RSG Structures. Precast L Units were used from 1m up to 3.8m in height. These were bolted down to a foundation and then backfilled over for the yard slab to be poured. These units were chosen due to speed of install and price. In total over 120m of walling was supplied and installed.

Woodfuel Bunkering - Bristol

RSG Structures supplied freestanding bunker walls for a new woodfuel store for Bristol City Council. The units are an ideal self cleaning shape allowing the stored material to flow to the floor making cleaning much simpler. With corner units available these are perfect units for bunker complexes. These units are 3m high but they are also available in 2.4m and 3.6m variants.

Silage Walling for Showground - Stoneleigh

The existing clamps at the Stonleigh site were in need of upgrading in time for this years grassland event. With time and price at the top of the agenda RSG Structures provided units at a very competitive rate, but also in a timescale that no-one else could match. The L shape units are 3m high and are bolted down to the existing concrete slab. With its network of suppliers RSG can source the right products at the right price for all situations.
